Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Desktop Network Support Engineer to join our team in Brisbane, Gold Coast, or South Brisbane.

This role involves direct engagement with clients and requires problem-solving skills to support IT infrastructure and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site support for desktop and network issues, ensuring IT infrastructure functionality meets client standards.
  • Act as the first point of contact for IT concerns, offering expert advice and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure the proper implementation and management of network and desktop solutions.
  • Perform routine system monitoring, identifying any security vulnerabilities and deploying necessary updates and patches.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of support activities, solutions provided, and system configurations for continuity.
  • Implement and configure new network hardware to meet growing business needs and improve IT operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and standards, working to improve processes and user satisfaction.
  • Facilitate technical training sessions for end-users to increase efficiency in using IT systems and applications.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Imaging and reimaging expertise is highly valued.
  • A minimum of 2 years of end-user support experience is required.
  • The ability to work with Active Directory knowledge is essential.
  • Office 365 proficiency is also required.
  • SCCM skills will be beneficial.
  • Network troubleshooting abilities and remote desktop services expertise are key qualifications.
  • Windows Administration experience is necessary.
