Senior Procurement Specialist: Lithium Operations

Pilbara Minerals is a world-class lithium producer and owns 100% of the world's largest, independent hard-rock lithium operation. This project is located in Western Australia's resource-rich Pilbara region and produces a spodumene and tantalite concentrate.

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Principal to join our team based out of the corporate office in West Perth. There will be a requirement to travel to site on a monthly basis.

This role reports directly to the Group Manager Contracts & Procurement and is responsible for developing systems and processes for the department as well as managing cost and risk outcomes in the Contracts area.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a contracts lead or higher position within the resources sector. They will also have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and an academic qualification in contracts and procurement, supply chain, management, business or related discipline.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Complying with Company Contract and Procurement policies and procedures
  • Assisting with the leadership, shaping and modelling desired behaviors within the Contracts team
  • Establishing and monitoring benchmarks for the teams' performance and success
