As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the coordination and execution of geological activities at our mine site. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with our mine team to coordinate geology activities across the site, daily production duties such as in-pit mapping, supervision of mining activities, ore block design, production reporting, and mine to mill reconciliation.

  • Coordinate geological activities with the mine team to ensure efficient operations
  • Oversee daily production tasks including in-pit mapping, mining activity supervision, and production reporting
  • Design and implement resource drilling programs to maximize benefit and accuracy
  • Develop and maintain accurate data processing and geological interpretation of drill data
  • Contribute to the delivery of accurate grade control models for grade control and resource development purposes

The ideal candidate will be a tertiary qualified Mine Geologist with previous experience in Open Pit Mining. You should hold a current and valid manual C class driver's license, demonstrate a sound understanding of geostatistical and geological principles, have experience with RC drilling supervision, and be familiar with Vulcan and Acquire Systems.

About You
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Mine Geology or a related field
  • Have previous experience in Open Pit Mining
  • Hold a current and valid manual C class driver's license
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of geostatistical and geological principles
  • Have experience with RC drilling supervision
  • Familiarity with Vulcan and Acquire Systems is advantageous
