Referee Development Specialist

This role is centered on advancing the education, development, and performance of elite referees in Australia.
About The Position- The Elite Men's Referee Developer will contribute to the growth and improvement of referees within the A-League Men's Panel and Football Australia competitions by building relationships that foster an environment for officials to develop their technical knowledge and officiating skills towards becoming part of the Elite Men's Refereeing Panel.
- Strategically guide the progression and enhancement of referees in the ALM Elite Refereeing Program.
- Develop targeted mentoring strategies based on observations and observer assessments.
- Promote a supportive atmosphere within the panel and department.
- Strong refereeing experience and a proven track record as a referee at A-League level are essential.
- Leadership and mentoring ability to lead, inspire, and develop elite officials are crucial.
- Capacity for performance assessment using data analysis to inform mentoring and development is vital.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Working with children check or equivalent.
