Key Responsibilities:- Lead the assessment and implementation of regulatory updates affecting the Bank's operations in Australia and New Zealand, including FATCA, CRS, and BCoP.
- Conduct thorough reviews of the Compliance Manual, Policies & Procedures to align with current industry standards and regulatory mandates.
- Act as a liaison for inquiries from regulatory bodies, governmental agencies, and auditors.
- Deliver training sessions to enhance compliance awareness and understanding of regulatory challenges among internal stakeholders.
- Oversee the management and resolution of customer complaints, ensuring effective communication and follow-up.
- Contribute to the development and execution of a robust controls monitoring program to uphold internal compliance standards.
- Prepare and submit necessary regulatory documentation, including reports and notices, and support audit processes as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support compliance initiatives.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance within the Australian financial sector, ideally within Banking, Regulatory Agencies, or Consulting.
- Familiarity with Corporate Banking regulations such as ASIC, FATCA, CRS, and BCoP.
- Proven experience in compliance monitoring and testing is highly advantageous.
- Experience in internal or external auditing is beneficial.
- A relevant tertiary qualification; a legal background is preferred.
- Self-motivated and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Chinese is highly desirable.
