Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Scheduler to assist in developing mechanical maintenance schedules that align with the organization's strategy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop an integrated schedule that delivers work at the right time and makes efficient use of resources to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure scheduling is aligned with strategy and operational management systems.
  • Establish initial Schedule windows for all approved work from department planners, ensuring timely completion.
  • Create an effective schedule, defining task start times within optimal timing windows set by department planners.
  • Coordinate equipment and workplace access, labour, and equipment availability to support smooth operations.
  • Determine the optimal work sequence within timing windows set by department planners, minimizing conflicts and maximizing synergies.
  • Support the Work Management process by scheduling all approved work before the required date, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruptions.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities in the schedule, proactively managing these factors to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Review draft Schedules with accountable Operational Superintendents, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in scheduling or planning processes, preferably with expertise in SAP systems.
  • Proficiency in SAP Prometheus Advanced Scheduler, although not essential.
  • The ability to effectively manage expectations with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
