Experienced Security Professionals are sought after to assume senior roles within our security function. This position entails responsibility for delivering all aspects of security risk management and implementation in accordance with the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and Company policy requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing security processes guidelines in support of Policy and Standards requirements.
  • Operational security supervision will be conducted in line with local security strategy, policies, standards, and best practice.
  • A thorough review and improvement framework will be undertaken to develop and enhance best practices and integrate efficient security solutions.
  • Risk assessments and mitigation strategies will be managed in line with BAE Systems Australia standards and policy.
  • The incident process will be supported and managed, ensuring reporting meets mandated timelines with coordinated security investigations.
  • A team of Security professionals will be managed, and operational security compliance activities will be supported.
About You:
  • An Australian Citizen eligible to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 Defence Security & ITAR clearance is required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Strong leadership and management skills are necessary.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in security and/or a Defence Industry role, including knowledge of the DSPF and Company policy, is desired.
  • The ability to demonstrate understanding and experience in relation to the implementation of security policy and process is crucial.
  • A working knowledge of Cyber Security Policy and standards is required.
  • Sound knowledge of Physical, Personnel, and Information Security is essential.
