Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Building Automation and Energy Management specialist to join our team.

As a BMS Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, design, upgrade, commissioning, and delivery of end-to-end projects. You will work closely with clients to provide customized solutions that meet their specific needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carry out scheduled service and updates for BMS and Building Automation systems.
  • Configure and program BMS/HVAC control systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance in assigned regions to improve energy efficiency.
  • Undertake diverse tasks including commissioning and small project works.
  • Liaise with clients to recommend upgrades, integration, and building efficiency improvements.
  • Produce accurate service reports.
  • Respond to client service requests, programming, and scheduling.
  • Develop relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Investigate and diagnose faults.
  • Provide technical support and commissioning reports as required.

Essential skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in programming and commissioning BMS/HVAC systems.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of IP-related protocols, networking, and communications.
  • Strong knowledge of controls protocols, including BACnet and Modbus.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, standards, and plant operating instructions.
  • Restricted Electrical Licence.
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence.
