Energy Efficiency Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to support clients in managing their energy consumption and affordability.
The role involves delivering tailored energy efficiency advice, education, and advocacy to individuals and families facing financial difficulties related to utility issues.
You will work with our team to provide effective household energy efficiency programs, leveraging your knowledge of energy efficiency, financial counselling, and community development principles.
In this capacity, you will also develop and deliver community education initiatives on residential energy efficiency, grants, concessions, and financial literacy.
Key skills and experience required include:
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent in energy efficiency, financial counselling, community development, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience or knowledge in consumer rights and financial issues.
- Advocacy experience, particularly in relation to payment arrangements and access to grants/concessions.
To be successful in this role, you will have proven skills in developing and delivering effective household energy efficiency and/or financial inclusion programs for vulnerable populations.
