We are seeking experienced researchers to undertake fundamental machine learning projects aligned to one of more of the following themes: tackling misinformation, safe AI in the real world, diverse AI and causal AI.
Job Description: Undertake Fundamental Machine Learning Research

As a postdoctoral research fellow, you will be responsible for undertaking fundamental machine learning research projects that align with our organisational goals. This will involve developing and applying novel machine learning techniques to address complex problems and collaborating with researchers and industry partners to advance leading research and development of AI.

Our team is committed to advancing the field of machine learning and we are looking for individuals who share our passion and expertise.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or other Machine Learning-related field.
  • Programming experience in Python, C++ or other relevant language and experience in deep neural networks.
  • Strong mathematical capability, especially for theme 1, with applicants holding an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in mathematics strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Experience and demonstratable knowledge in deep learning and one or more of the following: transformer networks, implicit neural functions, graph neural networks and/or probabilistic graphical models; and causal inference.
  • Outstanding publication record in top tier machine learning and/or computer vision conferences or journals, commensurate with experience and opportunity.
