Postdoctoral Research Fellow Opportunity

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Fellows to undertake fundamental machine learning research for projects aligned with one or more of the following themes:

  • Theme 1: Misinformation Mitigation
  • Theme 2: Safe AI in Real-World Scenarios
  • Theme 3: Diverse AI Systems
  • Theme 4: Explainable AI

The successful applicants will have a strong background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, with expertise in deep neural networks and programming experience in Python, C++, or other relevant languages. They will also be able to demonstrate strong mathematical capability and fluency in written and spoken English.

As part of our team, you will contribute to advancing leading research and development of AI, working closely with industry partners, and being part of a world-class, outcome-based research centre within a 'Group of Eight' University.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake fundamental machine learning research projects aligned with one or more of the identified themes
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions using deep neural networks and other relevant technologies
  • Collaborate with researchers, industry partners, and other stakeholders to advance AI research and development
