Key Role Summary

Mondrian Gold Coast is a destination lifestyle precinct located on the iconic Burleigh Beach. This visionary project brings together some of Australia and the world's most celebrated changemakers, risk takers, and creative thinkers.

As a key member of the Executive Committee, you will partner closely with senior leaders to drive performance and provide strategic financial insights.

Job Responsibilities
  • Review the Resort Day Pack to ensure adherence to Resort policies and procedures
  • Approve requisitions in Purchase Plus for the Resort
  • Review and approve journals posted in SUN by the Finance team
  • Authorize and sign all outgoing payments for the Resort in conjunction with the General Manager
  • Oversee and assist with AR, AP, Payroll & Cashiering functions as required
  • Full oversight of end-of-month processes including journal posting in SUN accounting system, review of P&L to ensure correct revenue and expense coding, and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Reconcile revenue in the accounting system to Opera PMS
  • Review fortnightly payroll, complete payroll system audit, and check for Super Stapling
  • Approve weekly/fortnightly Accounts Payable payment run
  • Oversee weekly payroll productivity meeting

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior financial position, ideally in hotels
  • A proactive, strategic mindset with hands-on leadership style
  • CA or CPA qualification with strong background in financial leadership
  • Exceptional business partnering, stakeholder management, and communication skills
