Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee capital and operational expenditure initiatives related to cables and distribution networks.
  • Specialize in Power Transformers and Asset Management.
  • Provide expert guidance on asset management strategies for transmission lines and ensure structural integrity.
  • Lead technical initiatives associated with power and instrument transformers across various voltage levels.
  • Support asset management and replacement strategies throughout the network.
  • Evaluate and analyze the condition and performance of power and instrument transformers.
  • Conduct investigations into equipment failures, producing comprehensive reports and identifying root causes.
  • Review and approve technical documentation for transformer-related projects.
  • Offer critical support during emergency response situations as required.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Engineering with a robust technical foundation in relevant disciplines.
  • Extensive engineering or asset management experience, ideally in a comparable role.
  • A strong commitment to safety and best practices in engineering projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of distribution system components and transformer technologies.
  • Analytical skills to utilize data-driven insights for optimizing asset performance.
  • Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
  • The capability to lead thorough investigations into failures and incidents.
