About this role

This is a key leadership position responsible for driving the development of data analytics capability within the organization. The successful candidate will be a strong leader and expert communicator with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of analysts to deliver actionable business insights.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Python, Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, Qliksense, SAS, R, Tableau, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also have a deep understanding of next-best-action concepts, operating models, and approaches to arbitration and real-time decisioning.

Responsibilities include coaching and developing chapter members, building a deep level of business understanding and technical skill, and championing continuous improvement activities that improve efficiency and quality of work. The successful candidate will also be responsible for generating, monitoring, analysing and presenting relevant customer and business insights, costs, benefits, and risks.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, self-awareness, and the ability to communicate effectively to all stakeholders. They will also be able to translate data insights into practical and actionable business recommendations with engaging yet sophisticated visualisations.
