The role of a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Professional involves providing high-quality mental health services to children and adolescents in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the Position- Manage a caseload of child and adolescent mental health patients, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and therapies.
- Provide consultation and education to junior medical staff, medical students, and other mental health clinicians.
- Be registered (or eligible for registration) as a specialist with the relevant professional board.
- Hold a fellowship or equivalent qualification in the field of psychiatry.
- Have significant experience in the direct delivery of inpatient and outpatient mental health clinical services.
