We are seeking a skilled Defence Industry Product Manager to join our prestigious Government department based in Adelaide.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Lead product strategy and drive results in a dynamic development environment
- Collaborate with diverse teams to elicit and determine priorities for 4 scrum teams
- Engage with stakeholders to provide clarity in backlog prioritisation
- Participate in software system design and development activities when required (20% of time)
- Organise engineering peer reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with completion criteria for the project

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as a Product Manager in a defence industry sector
- Security clearance is mandatory for this role
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
- Demonstrated ability to drive product strategy and deliver results
- A strategic thinker with a keen understanding of market trends and customer needs

**Desirable:**

- Experience using Linux based development environment
- Source Code Management
- Understanding of configuration management and defect tracking tools
- Familiarity with languages such as C, C++, Python, JavaScript
- Tertiary Qualification in related Engineering discipline or Certified Product Owner accreditation
