Production Clerk - Defence Maintenance Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Production Clerk supporting the Defence Maintenance Contract Manager in ensuring effective, efficient and best practice planning, scheduling, resourcing and progress monitoring.

  • Undertake a mix of office based administrative tasks, plus non-technical support to tradespersons and local Defence clientele in modern maintenance facilities.
  • Manage the daily operation of customer facing reception areas within RAAF Edinburgh.
  • Compile and manage inventory records and prepare requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies for ADF fleets.
  • Use Commonwealth managed systems to track and expedite repair parts.
  • Assist with the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
  • Support tradespersons via work order management and data entry tasks, within Commonwealth Mandated Information Systems.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous proven experience in administration within a workshop environment.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office 365 applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proficient planning, organisational, and communication skills.
  • A current Australian State or territory class C Driver's Licence.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and reports, schedules, and information management systems.
