Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled leader to oversee the strategic and operational management of our Sydney Olympic Park precinct.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination of high-profile events, providing operational advice to support infrastructure delivery, and managing day-to-day precinct operations with a focus on public safety and security while balancing diverse stakeholder expectations.

  • Manage precinct operations for public spaces and parklands, including major events coordination, safety and security, traffic management, stakeholder engagement, communication and media.
  • Lead interagency collaboration to influence major event and infrastructure outcomes in alignment with the precinct's master plan and regulatory frameworks.
  • Represent the organization across interagency forums, manage operational risks, and deliver integrated precinct outcomes.
  • Lead and develop teams to ensure operational excellence and a high-quality customer experience during major events and precinct activations.
About You

You should have leadership experience in urban parks, leisure venues, or event precincts, with qualifications and experience in risk, security, and crisis management.

Influencing and negotiating across government, commercial, and community sectors is essential, as well as thrivng in complex, fast-paced environments with a strategic yet operational mindset.

Collaborative, accountable, and results-driven leadership is required, fostering high-performing teams and resilient partnerships.
