Learning Support Specialist

At Enkindle Village School, we're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Specialist to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with educators to support students' learning, wellbeing, and engagement. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality learning experiences, preparing engaging resources, and contributing to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support teachers in delivering tailored learning experiences that cater to diverse needs
  • Assist with classroom setup, resources, and supervision to ensure a smooth and efficient learning environment
  • Provide individualized and small group support to students, focusing on their unique strengths and challenges
  • Foster positive relationships with children, staff, and families through effective communication and empathy
  • Contribute to maintaining a respectful and inclusive learning environment that promotes social-emotional growth
  • Collaborate with educators to facilitate Forest School and Enrichment Program activities that promote hands-on learning and exploration

Requirements

  • Demonstrated passion for working with children and commitment to child-centered education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and families
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
