Job Title: Credit Strategy Associate Director

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead single name and industry based strategy views on Australian and New Zealand corporates and banks.

  • This role involves bottom-up fundamental analysis of single name credit, industry and market analysis to support views where appropriate, making recommendations on risk, pricing and trading of credit product, and developing credit views for presentation in open forums for internal and external clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles, knowledge of credit ratings and rating agencies processes, and a practical understanding of credit risk fundamentals across the corporate and/ or financial space.

About the Opportunity

This is a key leadership position within the Institutional Bank. The successful candidate will take ownership of selected industry sectors and provide expert advice to stakeholders.

  • The ideal candidate will be able to quickly form accurate opinions on companies and associated credit products across a broad range of industries.
