Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care that respects the residents' unique needs, values, and culture
  • Maintain the residents' dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times
  • Ensure care is provided according to relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Monitor resident health and wellbeing
  • Develop individualized care plans that incorporate residents' personal beliefs and values

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care with a strong focus on service delivery
  • A minimum of 3 months of experience as PCA in residential aged care, home care, or disability services
  • Flexibility and reliability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Effective communication with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless care transitions
  • A strong passion for working with older adults and delivering exceptional care
  • A valid police check and current first aid certification
  • Evidence of COVID vaccinations (2 doses + Booster Dose)
