About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Personal Care Worker to join our team in Mansfield on a permanent part-time basis.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality care to our aged care clients within an in-home care setting.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Assisting clients at home with personal care tasks like showering, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Supporting clients to stay independent by helping them go out for shopping, appointments, and community activities.
  • Communicating any client concerns or feedback to the care team to ensure quality service.
  • Maintaining client privacy and dignity, and encouraging the same among team members and contractors.
  • Reporting consumer risks to management, including inappropriate behaviours or actions not aligned to our values.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A completed Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support or above.
  • A current valid Level II First Aid Certificate.
  • A minimum of 1 year's working experience in an In-Home Care setting.
  • A medically endorsed (preferred) current Australian Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance.
