We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to join our Data and Analytics team at AGL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of data products and projects across our Data and Analytics function.

About the Role:

The Delivery Manager will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of data products. You will lead an agile delivery team consisting of Technical Data Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and Test Automation Engineers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Working with key business stakeholders and product owners to identify and prioritize projects
  • People management for individuals within the delivery team
  • Empowering the delivery team by removing obstacles and optimizing internal processes
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal customers, stakeholders, and other delivery teams
  • Conducting sprint planning sessions, sprint retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
  • Liaising with business stakeholders post-implementation to ensure the delivery product is fit for purpose and being utilized

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience in a technical delivery role within the Data and Analytics space
  • A strong understanding of Agile delivery practices
  • A good understanding of cloud data platforms, ideally in the Azure/Microsoft stack
  • Strong interpersonal skills, internal stakeholder management skills, and high-quality written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational and self-management skills, including the ability to quickly adjust work cycles to accommodate emerging priorities
  • The ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
