Job Overview

The Information Services Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in overseeing the strategic direction of the Information Services Department. This senior position is responsible for driving innovation, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the department, focusing on the implementation of the ICT Strategic Plan and Operational Plans to drive business growth.
  • Facilitate effective communication between teams, management levels, and external stakeholders as required.
  • Ensure network security and implement disaster recovery measures as outlined in the Council's Disaster Recovery Plan.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A degree in Information Technology, Business, or Management, or a related field, combined with significant experience in operational areas and management.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with a proven track record of management experience within a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Ability to effectively manage budgets and monitor financial performance.
  • Extensive experience in IT management, particularly in implementing and managing financial systems, procedures, and policies.
