
Strategic Allied Health Leader

This is a chance to take on a senior leadership role in a multidisciplinary team within a hospital setting.
The successful candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification, extensive experience in a senior practitioner or management position, and a proven ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and delegate effectively.
Key responsibilities include delivering high levels of patient care, leading, mentoring and coaching staff, managing change and business complexity, and developing policies and procedures for Allied Health services.
- Collaborate with the Allied Health Director to deliver comprehensive Allied Health services across acute and rehabilitation clinical streams.
- Provide operational leadership across all Allied Health disciplines and for Allied Health Assistant staff.
To be successful in this role, you will possess superior patient care skills, the ability to mentor others, and a desire to contribute to a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.

Required Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification entitling AHPRA registration or eligibility for credentialing with the appropriate professional body as an Allied Health Professional
- Previous experience in a senior practitioner role and/or leadership/management position
Essential Skills:
- Proven ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate a Quality Improvement Process
- Superior patient care skills with the ability to mentor others
