Community Registered Nurse Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Community Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical care and support to clients in their homes.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification, current AHPRA Div 1 Nursing registration, and a minimum of 3 years experience as a Registered Nurse in Community, Commonwealth Home Support or District Nursing. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

About the Role:

This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday during business hours. The role will involve providing clinical assessments, reviews, and care needs for clients in Ballarat and surrounding communities. You will also collaborate with local allied health professionals to facilitate responsive care in clients' homes.

  • Key responsibilities include providing clinical advice and support to clients, referring them to services where more specialized support/advice may be required, and collaborating with local allied health professionals.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a positive attitude towards delivering high-quality care.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Current AHPRA Div 1 Nursing registration
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Registered Nurse in Community, Commonwealth Home Support or District Nursing
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
