Lead Underground Operation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our underground operation.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering production objectives, and will be responsible for overseeing the longwall, development, and outbye areas.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing operating systems, managing performance targets and plans, and building relationships with key stakeholders to support production delivery.
In addition, the Production Manager will drive performance across the underground operation, ensuring operational employees are competent and motivated to perform their roles efficiently and effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A NSW Undermanager Certificate of Competency and Practising Certificate is required.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering field are also highly desirable.
- Sound knowledge of underground mining processes, including practical knowledge of mining equipment, is essential.
- Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills are necessary to meet production objectives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are also required.
