Hardware/Electronics Manager Position Overview

This is a senior leadership role that oversees the development of complex electronics and hardware systems. The Hardware/Electronics Manager will lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and test innovative solutions that meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-level electronics design roles and/or hardware management, with a strong background in electrical/electronic engineering. They will be able to manage small, highly technical teams and work independently with a high degree of autonomy.

This position requires a deep understanding of complex electronics, precision analogue data acquisition and processing, and high-speed digital circuits. The successful candidate will also have experience turning high-level discussions into detailed work package plans and reporting progress to management.

  • Lead a team of engineers

  • Collaborate with software team for seamless integration
  • Drive accountability within the team

In addition to these responsibilities, the Hardware/Electronics Manager will oversee their team's productivity, build a highly inclusive culture, and ensure that company outcomes are met.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor degree or higher in electrical/electronic engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in high-level electronics design roles and/or hardware management
  • Experience managing small, highly technical teams
  • Strong knowledge of WHS practices
  • High level of proficiency using industry-standard tools such as SPICE and Altium Designer
