Senior Electronics Design Engineer

This position requires a senior-level electronics design engineer to lead electronic project design and development activities.

  • Design and develop electronic products from concept to manufacture.
  • Act as a product lead and subject matter expert, guiding clients and project teams.
  • Contribute to the development of the hardware team by improving your own capabilities and developing junior colleagues.
  • Ensure quality standards are met in line with the company's quality management system.
  • Estimate current and potential work for the hardware team.
  • Perform technical reviews for hardware designs and documents.
  • Act as technical contact to clients and project managers for electronics design matters.
  • Contribute to improving hardware design processes, procedures, systems and documentation.
Requirements
  • Australian citizenship, permanent residency or working visa.
  • Relevant degree from a reputable university (e.g., Bachelor of Electronics Engineering).
  • 7+ years experience as a professional electronics design engineer.
  • Registered as a professional engineer in Victoria (if based in Victoria).
  • Competent in analog and digital electronics design.
  • Experience in electronic product design from concept to manufacture.
  • Proficient in Altium schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
