Job Overview

The successful candidate will contribute to the broader strategic direction and leadership of Monetary Policy Implementation (MPI) team. They will oversee research and analysis that shapes and enhances the Bank's understanding of monetary policy implementation and transmission, and market conditions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Direct research and analysis to support the Bank's core monetary policy function.
  • Transact in domestic repo and bond markets to manage liquidity and bond portfolio operations.
  • Evaluate market operations and facilities to ensure they remain fit-for-purpose.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments.
  • Engage in external liaison with market participants.
  • Implement innovation to enhance operational processes and liquidity forecasting.
  • Provide inspirational leadership and motivate team members.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in economics or finance.
  • Experience managing risks related to coding infrastructure.
