We are looking for an experienced Claims Broker to join our team.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a wide range of experience in a variety of claims roles, with a focus on motor, property, liability, marine, and travel.

  • Ensure timely and favourable settlement of claims.
  • Keep clients informed of the status of claims in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with underwriters, assessors, legal advisers to achieve settlement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and industry codes.
  • Use claim settlement as a marketing tool.
  • Develop and maintain an appropriate knowledge of insurance.
  • Keep management and others informed appropriately about work.
  • Lead, motivate, counsel, and assist with staff development.
  • Use personal effectiveness techniques at a level appropriate to the position.
