Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Category Development Manager to drive strategic growth and success across assigned product categories.

This key role will leverage expertise in category management to develop and implement brand harmonisation strategies, driving awareness of our brands and product portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute category management strategies, monitoring performance and implementing corrective measures where required.
  • Define and manage category-related KPIs linked to business objectives and performance reviews.
  • Tailor product assortments to meet both market and channel demands, ensuring optimal business outcomes.
  • Implement brand harmonisation strategy, driving awareness and visibility of our brands and product portfolios.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver category strategies and achieve business goals.
  • Support the development and execution of profiling strategies aligned with regional and global objectives, considering local market specifics.
  • Translate local brand and product requirements into actionable insights for category management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in business, marketing, supply chain, or related discipline.
  • Managerial experience in category management or procurement, with a proven track record of executing category plans.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in evaluating market and channel demands to shape product assortments effectively.
  • Prior experience with brand harmonisation initiatives and enhancing brand visibility.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills in dynamic, cross-functional environments.
  • Experience contributing to branch profiling strategies aligned with regional and global goals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data insights for decision-making, optimisation, and performance improvement.
