Aged care support workers play a pivotal role in making this happen. They are the backbone of our care services, providing support to clients in their homes and communities.

About the Role:

We're looking for dedicated individuals who can undertake various tasks to support clients in living independently and accessing community facilities.

Your responsibilities may include assisting clients with daily activities, providing personal care assistance, and supporting carers with general respite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients to access community facilities or appointments
  • Provide carers with general respite and at times overnight respite
  • Support clients with shopping and other daily activities
  • Provide quality personal care assistance such as showering and dressing
  • Provide assistance with housework and other areas of daily living including preparation of meals

Requirements:

  • A strong desire to provide quality service and build relationships with clients
  • Flexibility and ability to be adaptive
  • Highly professional and able to act in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner
  • Previous experience working and supporting older clients and/or clients with disabilities
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Current CPR with at least 3 months until expiry and First Aid with at least 12 months until expiry
  • Current driver's license and own transport vehicle with insurance
  • Minimum availability of 3 days per week
  • Must have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in line with the Victorian Government Public Health Directions

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Care or higher
  • Knowledge and experience in a similar industry or position
  • Fluency in a second language
