Position Overview:

This role is dedicated to delivering specialized case management services for adolescents facing various risks. These young individuals may be residing in family environments, living independently, or in alternative care settings.

The objective of this service is to enhance the resilience of youth involved in protective services by offering a tailored, outreach-oriented case management approach. This includes support for families and placements, educational assistance, and programs focused on personal development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in case management and supervision of at-risk youth with special needs.
  • Proficiency in employing diverse strategies to address individual and family challenges, including abuse, family disintegration, and relational dynamics.
  • Understanding of the developmental processes of children and adolescents for effective engagement with individuals and groups.
  • Competence in intervention techniques that cater to the developmental requirements of youth exhibiting high-risk behaviors or those from challenging family backgrounds.
  • Capability to assist in the formulation, execution, monitoring, and assessment of client case plans.
  • Familiarity with relevant policies and legal frameworks concerning the protective and corrective responsibilities towards children and adolescents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with governmental and non-governmental organizations, community groups, and the families/networks of clients.
