About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in creating standout work that helps make our clients famous.

The ideal candidate will have a finger on the pulse of the latest media moves, trends in culture, travel and lifestyle, and be able to develop and cultivate positive relationships with allocated clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Researching and monitoring clients' business and industries to stay up-to-date on trends, developments and breaking issues.
  • Developing and cultivating a wide range of relationships across mainstream and specialist media relevant to client base.
  • Creating unique, relevant and newsworthy story angles and developing high quality media releases, pitches and materials.
  • Monitoring and reporting on client and industry media activity, ensuring media coverage is provided in the best quality and as quickly as possible.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of the Australian media landscape.
  • The ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven track record of working within an agency context.
