Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Home Care Assistant. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of elderly clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services such as showering, dressing, and hygiene assistance
  • Prepare meals and assist with domestic duties
  • Offer social support and companionship
  • Assist with transportation and other daily tasks
  • Care for pets if required

Additional responsibilities may include assisting with medication, providing respite care, and fitting/removing pressure stockings. You will work independently but as part of a team to ensure our clients receive the best possible care.

About You
  • A caring and empathetic nature
  • Comfortable driving and transporting clients safely
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

You do not need experience in aged care or community work to apply. Traineeships are available for those who want to pursue a career change and help our elderly community.

Requirements
  • Acceptable National Police Clearance
  • Up-to-date flu vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination
  • Current driver's licence
  • Access to a reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
  • Pass pre-employment physical assessment and reference checks
