About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Care Companion to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to assist elderly individuals in achieving their goals and maximizing their independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and assistance with daily activities (social support)
  • Performing domestic assistance duties (cleaning)
  • Supporting individuals in developing life skills and accessing community resources
  • Building meaningful relationships based on trust, empathy, and dignity
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III/IV in Individual Support Work or Aged Care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Aged Care experience
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude
  • Willingness to undergo relevant training and certifications
  • Current Motor Vehicle license and a reliable car
