Job Opportunity

Are you a skilled handyman or handyperson looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We have an exciting opportunity to join our village maintenance team as a maintenance support worker.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 08:30-16:30. As a maintenance support worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, repair, and appearance of buildings, equipment, facilities, and grounds within the village.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing assistance to new residents with moving into their homes, including moving furniture and setting up their apartments
  • Collection and disposal of rubbish as scheduled
  • Maintaining the village grounds and gardens to a high standard
  • Assisting with inwards goods, stock management, and stores
  • Promoting a welcoming and caring atmosphere at the village

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good physical fitness, as heavy lifting may be required
  • Strong empathy and outstanding communication skills
  • A reliable, friendly, and professional manner
  • A 'can-do' attitude and the ability to multitask
