Student Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our dynamic team as a Student Engagement Specialist.

  • Develop and implement engaging activities and initiatives to foster a vibrant and supportive learning environment for students across online and on-campus platforms.
  • Line management of the Online and Brisbane Student Engagement team, ensuring staff are effectively inducted, trained and motivated to deliver high-quality services in a digital and on-campus environment.
  • Provide high-level advice and support to Student Engagement staff on digital engagement policy and procedure, assisting with escalated online student enquiries.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse student populations. Strong organisational and time management abilities are essential, along with proficiency in using online platforms, learning management systems, and virtual learning environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education, training and/or experience equivalent to completion of a degree, or completion of an associate diploma with at least two years' subsequent relevant work experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse student populations.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
