About the Role

The Head of Innovation Delivery will play a pivotal role in driving SPC's growth through product innovation and market expansion. This strategic position is integral to SPC's goal of maintaining a strong market position while delivering significant innovation rates.

The successful candidate will lead and optimise the innovation pipeline, focusing on accessible market opportunities that reinforce SPC's positioning in the FMCG sector. The role requires effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including consumer insights, product development, and commercialisation, to ensure each launch meets consumer demands and strengthens SPC's portfolio.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining a standardised framework for innovation governance, comprising relevant processes, policies, and tools. Key objectives include refining the stage-gate process, ensuring efficient innovation delivery, and enhancing overall commercialisation strategies.

In this role, you will oversee the entire innovation process, from ideation to market, ensuring the pipeline remains strong, relevant, and financially viable. You will also refine and manage the Stage & Gate process, develop systematic ideation from consumer insights, drive new product development (NPD) processes, and apply the stage-gate model to streamline project timelines, costs, and product quality.
