Job Title:
Our organization is seeking an Ethics and Governance Advisor to play a critical role in supporting the operational function of our Discovery & Innovation Unit at Austin Health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level advice to key research stakeholders and Ethics & Governance Committees on matters related to ethics, governance, operations, integrity, and biosafety.
- Lead continuous improvement stakeholder meetings and implementation using Agile methodology.
- Oversee the creation of agendas, minutes, advice, and pre-review of items sent to the Ethics & Governance Committees for review.

We are seeking an individual with excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to excellence in patient care, and a keen interest in developing their skillset.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in reviewing and interpreting research projects and research agreements.
- Experience in preparing and managing research projects, including design, tracking, and post-approval requirements.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in writing clear procedures and guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
