Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Research Ethics and Governance team at a prestigious hospital in Melbourne.

This role involves managing and facilitating research ethics and research management on campus. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice and guidance on documents to be submitted for approval.
  • Checking submitted documentation, data entry, and liaising with researchers, ethics reviewers, and committee members.
  • Offering executive support to the Human Research Ethics Subcommittee/s and general administrative support to the department.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in science and research or office administration.
  • Excellent customer service skills, advanced computer skills, a meticulous attention to detail, and an interest in the ethical conduct of research in children.
  • Previous work experience in a hospital, health, or research-related environment is highly desirable as is a tertiary qualification in a health or science-related field.
  • Experience within a Research Ethics & Governance Office with an interest in ethics and governance submissions will be highly regarded.
