Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team of experts in the field of renewable energy. As part of our fast-paced and dynamic team, you will be responsible for the design and development of electrical systems for various renewable facilities including wind, solar and battery storage projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for renewable energy projects including concept design, feasibility studies, and detailed design.
  • Work closely with project managers to oversee projects and ensure timely completion.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to provide technical advice on project timelines, schedule, budget, and contractor management.
  • Act as a technical leader and mentor to junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with at least 5 years' experience in the renewable energy sector.
  • Proven track record of designing and developing electrical systems for renewable energy projects.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of Australian standards and regulations, with RPEQ (or ability to obtain) desirable.
