Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Performance Specialist to join our team. As an Athletic Performance Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs that optimize athlete performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in exercise science, sports physiology, or a related field, and possess excellent coaching and communication skills. You will work closely with our high-performance team to ensure the development of each sport program and/or athlete.

This is a full-time position requiring 5+ years experience in planning and periodising athletes across seasons/campaigns.

  • Designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs
  • Working with a high-performance team/organisation
  • Coaching individual and groups of athletes
  • Analysing, interpreting, summarising and communicating relevant data/results
  • Maintaining, technical operating and related procedures/protocols of sport science equipment and facilities

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, Sports Physiology, or a related field
  • ASCA Associate Level 2 Coach or international equivalent
  • Minimum 2+ years full-time experience in conditioning/physical preparation program design and practical implementation for performance athletes
  • Sport Integrity Australia (SIA) Anti-doping Fundamentals and Annual update
  • A valid Driver's License
  • A current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A First Aid and CPR Certificate
