Role Overview

Mental health services provide critical support to individuals and communities via various settings, including inpatient and outpatient facilities, community health centers, and other locations. The Adult Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit (AMHRU) is an inpatient rehabilitation unit focused on maximizing independence through comprehensive bio-psychosocial rehabilitation, enabling individuals to reintegrate into their communities effectively.

This position is primarily based within the AMHRU, with opportunities for cross-functional input and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete a pre-employment National Police Check.
  • Hold current registration under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011.
  • Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening, and Vaccination policy.
