Insurance Product Development Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Insurance Product Development Lead to spearhead the creation and enhancement of insurance products. This individual will be responsible for driving development efforts, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prioritize product backlogs to align with company goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine product vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
  • Work closely with software engineers, designers, and QA teams for successful product development and delivery
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify product opportunities and drive continuous improvement
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews
  • Provide regular updates on product status, progress, and key metrics
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to inform product strategy and decision-making

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience as an Insurance Product Development Lead or similar role, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Strong understanding of insurance products and industry dynamics
  • Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development teams
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with data-driven approach to problem-solving
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with passion for delivering high-quality products that exceed customer expectations
