Biomedical Engineering Technician/Technical Officer
Description:
We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Engineering Technician/Technical Officer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for medical equipment and instrumentation at Concord Repatriation General Hospital and Canterbury Hospital.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for carrying out acceptance testing, calibration, maintenance, repair, development, education, documentation, and other technical support services with regard to medical technology.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Possess an Associate Diploma in Electronics or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in repair and maintenance of electronics equipment, electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic layouts as applied to medical and laboratory electronic equipment.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards relating to medical equipment.
- Current NSW drivers license (P1 and P2 acceptable).
