Key Technical Specialist Role

The role of a Key Technical Specialist is to oversee the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of medical products and solutions. This position involves technical oversight and collaboration with stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Technical Implementation & Support: Lead deployment, integration, and configuration of medical devices and systems, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Product Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Provide hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, and repair services for medical devices and systems in the field and the depot repair workshop. Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues promptly to maintain optimal system functionality.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for technical matters. Foster strong relationships through regular communication, proactive service, and technical expertise.
  • Training & Knowledge Transfer: Deliver technical training sessions on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all activities comply with relevant quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Required Skills And Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics or related field preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical role, preferably in medical devices, biomedical engineering, or related industry.
  • Experience working with emergency medical devices, clinical systems, or similar technologies is an advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose, repair, and optimize systems and devices.
