Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Software Integration Specialist to play a critical role in keeping our military training devices up-to-date with the latest technological advancements.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for updating the software components of our flight simulator products, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • You will participate in the development, validation, and maintenance of systems and products from simulation to user interface (software and hardware).
  • You will review and troubleshoot simulator architecture, systems networking, and I/O, providing expert-level analysis and recommendations.
  • You will provide technical support and guidance to developers in the integration of their systems, guaranteeing all requirements are met and exceeded.
  • You will facilitate effective communication between our customer and design teams for software issue resolution, promoting collaborative problem-solving and efficient outcomes.
  • You will travel regionally to work on-site at customer locations, leading the integration of our software solutions and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, preferably with a focus on software development and integration.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages and scripting languages, with experience in software configuration management tools (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as good understanding of software-hardware interface concepts.
  • Solid understanding of the System Engineering Lifecycle, with ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Experience working with SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance is mandatory; holding a current SECRET (NV1) or Baseline clearance is preferred.
