Project Management Career Starter Role

We are a leading provider of cybersecurity services to Australian organisations. Our global team delivers quality outcomes for clients to reduce the risk of a cyber compromise.

About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate to start their career in Project Management with a professional and supportive organisation.

The ideal candidate will be looking to develop their skills in Project Management, learning the ins and outs of how we integrate our services to external and internal clients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support project administration tasks:
    • Review closed deals and collaborate with Service Delivery Managers (SDMs) to initiate new projects.
    • Assist SDMs with various tasks, including uploading client reports.
    • Contribute to weekly reporting as needed.
    • Participate in portfolio audits as assigned.
    • Aid in managing internal projects.
    • Progress towards managing a dedicated portfolio of clients.
    Necessary Skills and Qualifications
    • Cert 3 Business highly regarded.
    • Completion of VCE or equivalent required.
    • IT literacy including high level Excel and word skills.
    • Strong Communications Skills.
    • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
    • Be highly motivated and have a confident approach when dealing with people.
    • Calm under pressure with ability to work efficiently.
    • Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritise the workload to meet deadlines.
    • Flexible in accepting work assignments and capable of following directions.
    • Good personal presentation, commensurate with professional standards.
    • Open to learning new ways of working and thinking to ensure the quality of service being delivered exceeds expectations.
    • Understanding of other cultures and belief systems to function as part of a team.
    Training Opportunity

The role will form part of an accredited 12-18 month Cert 4 Project Management traineeship, encompassing study and on-the-job learning. We hope that you will gain experience and master the necessary skills during this time to be offered a permanent role on completion.
